In 1993, Dr. Jean Woo (FRCOG) and Dr. Jeremy Osborn (Ph.D) teamed up to introduce ICSI successfully to Malaysia. This collaboration strengthened in the ensuing years, culminating in the existence of Melbourne Fertility Services (MFS) at Gleneagles Intan Medical Centre (Kuala Lumpur) in 1996 and Gleneagles Medical Centre (Penang) in 2000.

Comprehensive services are offered at these centres. Notable success is evident in the centre (Kuala Lumpur); celebrating its 100th live birth following fresh assisted reproductive technique programme in September 2000, and its 50th birth from its freeze-thaw embryo programme in September 2001.
