| Dr. P. Srinivas had his basic education in Penang and Klang. He then pursued his medical studies at the Kasturba Medical College, University of Mysore, India. On his return to Malaysia in 1978, he served in various Government Hospitals in Melaka and Kelantan before leaving in 1987 for post-graduate training in Ireland. He worked as a Registrar in General Medicine and Geriatrics in Dublin, Galway, Tullamore and Waterford before returning to Malaysia in 1990. He then worked as a Lecturer and later as Associate Professor of Medicine in the Department of Medicine, University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur. |

Dr. Srinivas specializes in the care of elderly patients with multiple problems including Alzheimer's disease. His special interests include the care of patients with respiratory problems. He is also skilled in fiberoptic bronchoscopy of the lungs.

| He is married with two children and enjoys reading, listening to music and playing table tennis. |
