| Mr. Soon had his medical education in the University of Singapore, graduating with MBBS. He pursued his postgraduate training in General Surgery in Singapore and obtained his Fellowship in General Surgery (FRACS). He worked for three years as a Consultant General Surgeon in various hospitals in Singapore and then returned to Malaysia to join the government medical service. In 1990, he joined Gleneagles Medical Centre, Penang, as a Consultant General Surgeon. |

Mr. Soon provides treatment for surgical problems relating to the thyroid gland, salivary glands, breasts, the entire gastrointestinal tract (including the stomach, small & large intestines, rectum and anus), abdominal herniae, skin and subcutaneous skin lesions, etc. |

| Mr. Soon is married with two children. He enjoys reading, gardening and travelling. |
