| Mr. Siva completed his medical education in Pondicherry, India following which he returned to serve the Ministry of Health. He obtained a Masters’ Degree in Orthopaedics from University of Malaya. |

| Early in his career, he developed an interest in trauma surgery and this was reflected in his appointment as Chief Resident in Orthopaedic Trauma of his graduating batch and in his involvement with the AO trauma courses as an instructor. His early research work involving minimally-invasive trauma surgery attracted the interest of and was funded by the Swiss AO, a renown not-for-profit organization involved in the study of internal fixation of fractures. |

Mr. Siva also nurtured a keen interest in joint replacement surgery and is particularly interested in advanced arthritis in the young. His passion for tissue-preservation surgery is reflected in his joint replacement practice as well where he advocates bone-sparing surgeries of the hip and knee. In the knee he performs high-tibial osteotomies and unicondylar knee replacements in a small but deserving population of his patients and in the hip he is skilled in surface replacement, short-stemmed and cementless implants. He believes that each patient has unique needs and discusses the various options that are suited for that particular patient. He is proficient in computer-navigated surgery. Perioperative pain management is another aspect of care which he pays great emphasis to and constantly strives to use various methods to reduce the pain that patients experience after surgery. |

| Mr. Siva completed a Fellowship in Hip & Knee Reconstruction in Sydney, Australia in 2007, besides which he keeps abreast by attending various international courses and meetings. |

| He is married to an Anaesthetist and has three lovely daughters. |
