| Dr. Por, one of our Consultant Physicians, had his medical education in the University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, and post-graduate training at the General Hospital, Penang. |

After obtaining his MRCP (UK) Diploma, Dr. Por was appointed a Clinical Specialist at the Bukit Mertajam Hospital and later at the General Hospital, Penang. |

| Dr. Por joined the Gleneagles Medical Centre in 1977 and practised as a Consultant General Physician. |

| In 1990, he was elected a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians, London. |

| Dr. Por is married and has four children. Dr. Por enjoys reading, music and tennis. |
