She had worked for a while as a lecturer in University Hospital following which she decided to continue her training and working experience in London and Glasgow. She subsequently received her Fellowship from the Royal College of Radiology, London.

Apart from diagnostic imaging with M.R.I., C.T. scan and ultrasonography including Doppler ultrasound, mammography and angiography, she also performs percutaneous biopsies, amniocentesis, drainage procedures for abscesses, pleural and abdominal collections, percutaneous nephrostomies and biliary drainage.

On her return to Malaysia, she worked in Medicare Specialist Centre, Bukit Mertajam, and then Lam Wah Ee Hospital, Penang, before joining the Gleneagles Medical Centre, Penang.
