Mr. Hafiz Law graduated with a medical degree from the University of Malaya and obtained his post-graduate Fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, United Kingdom.
 

Mr. Hafiz was formerly Consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeon at the National Heart Institute (Institut Jantung Negara) in Kuala Lumpur. He had worked at the Birmingham Children Hospital and trained under well known surgeons.
 
He is proficient in adult cardiac surgery (CABG, valve repair and replacement, aortic root surgery). He also has extensive experience in paediatric cardiac surgery including complex neonatal heart surgery and complex congenital heart disease. Besides cardiac surgery, Mr. Hafiz is well trained in thoracic surgery (lung resection, cancer surgery, trauma) as well as video-assisted thoracoscopic lung surgery (VATS or minimally invasive lung surgery).
 
He is active in the Malaysian Cardiothoracic Society and has the privilege of serving as the Honorary Secretary.
 
He is married and enjoys outdoor life.
