| Mr. B. Gunasekaran graduated from the University of Madras, India, in 1975. After graduation, he worked as a Medical Officer in the Neurosurgery Department in Kuala Lumpur for three years. |

He was a Registrar in the Department of Neurosurgery, Royal Adelaide Hospital, South Australia, from 1980 to 1982 and a Registrar in the Department of Neurosurgery at Royal Perth Hospital, Western Australia, from 1983 to 1984. He obtained his FRACS Neurosurgery in November, 1983. |

| He subsequently worked in the Department of Neurosurgery, Kuala Lumpur Hospital, for two years. |

| He has been Consultant Neurosurgeon at the Gleneagles Medical Centre since January 1986. His practice involves surgery of the brain, spinal cord and nerves, inclusive of microsurgery. |
